The LiveTours app processes personal and technical data for app functionality (maps, POI detection, audio playback, subscriptions, advertising), analysis, and improvement. Legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interest, legal obligation, and consent.
What we collect: GPS coordinates (precise location), network-based location data, and movement data while the app is in use.
How we use it:
When we collect it: Location data is collected only while the app is actively in use (foreground) or when background location is enabled for the underway/auto-play feature. You grant location permission explicitly through your device's permission dialog.
How to control it: You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. Without location permission, core tour features (map positioning, automatic POI detection) will not function, but you can still manually browse and play audio content.
Data collected: Email address, display name, user ID.
Services used: Firebase Authentication, optionally Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In.
Purpose: Account management, authentication, personalization.

Data collected: Search radius, theme, language, favorites, subscription status, minutes consumed.
Storage: Locally (SQLite/AsyncStorage) and Firebase Firestore.

Data collected: Device ID, advertising ID (IDFA/GAID), app version, operating system.
